Our school is celebrating Maine Harvest Lunch on Thursday, September 29. It's a big day for local foods in our cafeterias. We will feature a local Maine Fish sandwich, roasted vegetables and an incredible Maine peach! The Maine Harvest Lunch promotes fresh, local food in school cafeterias and teaches our children and youth where food comes from – including local farms, gardens and greenhouses.
We're having Hat Day tomorrow, 9/23! Students can wear a hat of their choice for a $1 donation to endangered animals. Thank you Mrs. Lamoreau's third graders for caring enough to sponsor Hat Day!
Boy's soccer game as been canceled for this afternoon. It has been rescheduled for October 13th. Thank you

On Monday, September 12th Blake's Bus #26 will be leaving school one hour early due to a driver shortage. Students will arrive home one hour early. If you have any questions call 445-2356. Thank you for your understanding.

Girls soccer team tryouts are today from 1:45-3 and tomorrow from 2:45-4.
Boys soccer tryouts for the school team from2-4pm today, and from 2:45-4 tomorrow, September 1.
One of our Windsor families has donated 20 filled backpacks. If you would like to claim a backpack for your child(ten), please contact Mrs. Wilson at hwilson@svrsu.org. Backpacks will be given out on a first come, first served basis. We're so grateful for the generosity that we continue to see in this community!

We are having our PAWS carnival tomorrow, June 10. Students will be outside most of the day, so please look for communication from your child's teacher about sunblock, bug spray, and extra clothes as the kids will have an opportunity to play in water.
