We will be short one bus driver tomorrow, so all of the kiddos on Roy's bus will be picked up and dropped off by Blake. Kiddos on North Palermo Road will likely be picked up early in the morning so please be prepared for this. We are sorry for the inconvenience. One more day folks, we can do this!!

Roads in RSU 12 are mostly clear now. All RSU 12 schools will be open tomorrow. RSU 12 will have a full day of school.
There are still too many impassable roads throughout RSU 12 and extensive power outages, so all RSU 12 schools are closed again tomorrow, Wednesday, December 20th.
Due to the extensive power outages and blocked roads, all RSU 12 schools are closed today, Tuesday, December 19th.
Due to storm damage and power outages, we will have a two-hour delay tomorrow morning, December 19th. This delay will allow time for cleanup and assessment of the situation. Depending on the assessment, we may need to cancel school for the whole day tomorrow. Another communication will be sent out tomorrow morning at around 7 am with an update on whether or not school will be canceled for the day.
There are many roads blocked throughout RSU 12. Please expect your student to be late getting home today. Also, some phones may down in some of our buildings. If you can not get through to the office, then you can try to email the office. Thank you for your patience as we work to get everyone home safely.
Due to very high winds this afternoon and concern about roads being blocked and buses not being able to get students home, all RSU 12 schools are dismissing at 11:30 am today, December 18th, before more trees block roads.

There are 5-8 inches of snow predicted for today for most of our towns by the time the storm winds down this afternoon. So, all RSU 12 schools are closed today, Monday, December 4th.

Your understanding during this unsettling time has been invaluable. The safety of our students and staff remains our foremost priority. I encourage you to reassure your children that they are safe in school and that operations will proceed as usual. We also recognize the lasting impact of the distressing events from last week, and although the immediate threat has diminished, feelings of confusion, sorrow, and fear may persist. As we navigate this healing process, let us offer each other the comfort and strength needed to move forward. May the week ahead be one of solace and mutual support.

We have decided to close school again tomorrow, October 27th. Our foremost concern remains the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families. The decision to extend the school closure is a difficult one, made with careful consideration of the current circumstances. Our intention is to resume regular school activities on Monday. In the meantime, please take care of yourself and your loved ones during this challenging time.
Due to last night’s terrible events in Lewiston, area towns still in lockdown, and a potential safety concern for our staff and students attending school today, all RSU 12 schools are closed today out of an abundance of caution. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those impacted by this tragedy.

Our staff members have not claimed all these age 3 to 5 slots; thus, we are opening these slots to individuals outside our organization. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who knows someone who is searching for daycare services. Please note that this daycare currently operates on a school-year schedule. Please keep in mind that it is on a first-come, first-served basis. The daycare is located at Windsor Elementary School. Due to the high heat index in the 90s again this afternoon, all RSU 12 schools will be closing at 11:30 am today. Our buildings do not have air conditioning and the classrooms did not cool much last night. We are expecting many classrooms to get over 100 degrees again this afternoon.
