Tomorrow, Thursday May 3rd, Whitefield School will be having a 3 bus run both in the morning and afternoon. In the morning if your child rides on Mr. Webb's, Mr. Bronn's or Mr. Cote's bus, please expect them to be picked up in the morning five minutes earlier then normal. If your child rides Mr. Brann's bus, your pick up time will be between 8-8:20am.
In the afternoon, due to the 3 bus run, drop off times vary. Please call the school if you have a question about drop off times.
Miss Brenda and Miss Amanda served up a super yummy Homemade Fresh Fruit Smoothie for school breakfast today. It is a tasty and nutritious breakfast option that was a big hit! A great way to start the day.

This morning Whitefield School had some excitement. There was a small car fire in the back parking lot. It was easily taken care of with a fire extinguisher. The fire department was called as a precaution. They came and determined that there was no further risk of fire. The car has been towed. If you have any questions or concerns you may call the school. We would like to thank the Whitefield Fire Department for their prompt arrival and assessment of the situation.
On Monday, Lincoln County Red E. Fox visited with pre-k through 3rd grade students. He was here to teach our students about the use of 911.

Get To Know You Time
Hi- This is Tom Soule, Interim Principal at Whitefield Elementary. I would like the opportunity to reach out to the community and get to know you a little better. I will be hosting a meeting at the school on Tuesday, March 27 from 3:45pm-4:30pm. Come on in and talk. Our superintendent, Mr. Howard Tuttle, will be there as well. Hope to see you on the 27th!
Calling all four year olds in RSU 12!
RSU 12 and local Head Start programs are continuing their partnership to offer a free, high quality, comprehensive Pre-Kindergarten program to children in the district who turn four by October 15, 2018. Programs will be located Chelsea, Whitefield, Windsor and Somerville. Bus transportation will be provided. Pre -K programs will operate Monday through Friday and follow the school schedule. Meals will be served and a short rest period will be included. Classrooms will be staffed by a certified Early Childhood Teacher and Education Technicians to assist in the classroom. Children in the program will receive comprehensive services.
All families are encouraged to apply.
