
Just a reminder that there is no school on Friday, October 11th and Monday, October 14th.


We are going to celebrate Bullying Prevention Day on Monday October 7th by wearing BLUE. We hope to see our whole school, both students and staff wearing blue on Monday.


Mrs. Richards literacy block kids used the maker space room to create a Coelophysis (ask your child to pronounce it) to go along with our book Cam Jansen and the Mystery of the Dinosaur Bones.


Whitefield PTA will be holding their annual pumpkin sale today and tomorrow, Friday, October 4th from 2:30pm- 4:30pm. They will also be on sale next week. Dates and times to be determined. These pumpkins were planted by our students at the Marple Farm during Day of Caring last spring.


School picture retake day will be on Wednesday, November 6th.


Our lost and found box is over flowing. Please remind your child look through it and claim what they have lost.

Just a reminder to parents of students in Kindergarten, 1st grade and 6th grade. Tomorrow is the pumpkin picking field trip. Please make sure you turn in your permission slips.

Whitefield Cares Community Meeting will be held in the school library on 9/26/19 at 6pm.

MakerSpace Marshmellow Challenge with 5th grade students. They had to collaborate ideas to formulate a plan and then build - adjusting as they created. They had to be able to lift their structure and share what was difficult and how they solved it. Great Job Students!

School picture order forms will be going home with students early next week.

Students in grades 1-8 will be bringing home a letter instructing parent/guardians on how to access their students grades on Jumprope. If your student did not bring home a letter tonight, they should have it by Friday.
Pre-K and Kindergarten do not use Jumprope. If you have a student in those grades and have questions or concerns about how they are doing, you may email their teacher.

Whitefield School is looking for 1-2 volunteers to help out on picture day, Monday, September 30th. Please call the school if you are interested.

Please remember to complete and turn in your beginning of the year, parent paperwork. It is very important that these papers are completed and turned in to the office in as soon as possible.
