Due to the high heat index in the 90s again this afternoon, all RSU 12 schools will be closing at 11:30 am today. Our buildings do not have air conditioning and the classrooms did not cool much last night. We are expecting many classrooms to get over 100 degrees again this afternoon. Thank you for your patience and understanding with this unexpected weather. We look forward to cooler days ahead.

Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no
discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at a first come, first serve basis at the sites and times as follows:

Windsor School is having field day tomorrow, so we encourage students to bring a change of clothes. One of the stations is a water slide! We're getting ready for a fun last day!
The SVAC Championship baseball game will be played at Windsor School tomorrow, June 14 at 3:00. Windsor/Palermo Wildcats will be playing St. Mike's/Temple. Please come cheer on our team!
Reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, June 13th, there is a referendum on the proposed RSU 12 school district budget. Please remember to vote at your local polling stations.
Because of the weather, the middle school reward trip for tomorrow, June 13, has been changed to a bowling trip to Sparetime Recreation. The bowling and transportation is paid for but the kids can bring money for the arcade and potentially the concessions if they have staffing. We are bowling from 9-11 and will be back to have lunch here at school. Buses will leave at 8:20.
Reminder, student's who ride Annette's bus will be dismissed and hour early today, Friday May 26th at 1:30. Bus routes should be back to normal next week!!

This a reminder that if you are a resident of RSU 12, then the RSU 12 District Budget meeting will take place this Wednesday, May 24th, at 6:30 pm in the Chelsea Elementary School gym. Residents will learn about the school district budget and vote whether or not to approve the budget proposed by the RSU 12 School Board. Please attend this important meeting.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, student's who ride Jeff's bus will be released an hour early today and tomorrow. That will be a 1:30 pm dismissal Monday May 22nd and Tuesday May 23rd. Please contact the office at 445-2356 if you need to make alternate plans for you child. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Mr. Jeff's bus (bus 27) will be dismissed early tomorrow, May 18 because we are short a driver. Students on that bus will leave school at 1:30, so they will be home about an hour early. If your child rides that bus home, please let us know if you will be picking them up at 2:30. Thank you for understanding.
