We are excited to announce the launch of Pine Tree Programming, an after-school programming club (Grades 2-8) sponsored by the Maine Department of Education! Pine Tree Programming will offer students the opportunity to explore the world of coding and computer programming.
Why Join Pine Tree Programming?
In today’s digital world, coding is a valuable skill that fosters creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. By participating in Pine Tree Programming, students will:
Learn the fundamentals of coding and programming languages
Develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills
Work on interactive projects and fun challenges

When: Thursday, 2:30-3:45
Where: Whitefield School Learning Commons
Grade Level(s): 2-8
Duration: 6 Weeks, January 16, 23, 30, February 6, 13 & 27.
How to Sign Up:
If you want your child to join Pine Tree Programming, please fill out the attached permission slip and return it by January 10th. Spots are limited, so we encourage you to sign up soon to secure a place for your student.
