"Hazel Ellis has been sooo busy! She wanted me to send you some of her work! Math train, journaling daily, treasure hunts, reading books, drama class and gymnastics! We participated in the FREE Cincinnati Zoo animal show and activity and watched Chris Van Dusen read two books to us! Some great free resources out there!!! She misses her REAL kindergarten teacher, but Grammy & Momma are keeping her up to date!" 😘 Hazil's mom

Find a recipe online or in a cookbook. Read it and cook it with a family member. Share pictures and the recipe with everyone. This is my son Matthew learning how to make spaghetti sauce, while eating cucumbers. Mrs. Taylor

Parents after your child watches one of the astronauts reading a story have them do some research on their favorite planet. They could write a few paragraphs about it. Younger children can draw the solar system. Send their pictures we would love to see them!!

Reminder that meals and Continued Learning Packets will be delivered between 9 and 11 this Friday morning. The busses may be a little slower on Fridays', as drivers and our many delivery people will be stopping at more homes and have more to deliver. Together we can do this! Remember to take pictures of our student learners for the facebook page! Walking is learning, going outside and building a fort or playing legos and building something to save the world is learning, cooking with mom or dad is learning. Make learning fun! and show everyone else how Chelsea does learning!

School Calendar Change March 20, 2020 will be a Student School Day in RSU 12. The RSU 12 Board of Directors will be deciding at the March 12th Board meeting to make March 20th a student day instead of a Teacher Workshop Day. This is due to the excessive amount of storm days we have had this year. We want all RSU 12 families to be notified of this likely decision, so that you can make plans for your student to attend school on March 20th.
